The single customer record can be looked up by name, phone, etc. and all his associated vehicles are automatically displayed with his name. A vehicle can likewise be associated with various owners (family members, employees, etc) or easily switched to a new owner in case of a sale. 

Special AAIA compliant version of the lube and maintenance tables linked with an AAIA compliant VIN database allows data lookup from the VIN without the year / make / model / sub model / engine lookup.  This also ensures greater accuracy.
